About this event
On Saturday, March 26, Jazz at Johnstown presents Cormac Kenevey and his Trio. When vocalist Cormac recorded his first of three albums, This Is Living, it was quickly picked up and released by the Candid record label in London (home to Stacey Kent and Jamie Cullum).
Thus began a career as an international jazz singer with a string of critically acclaimed appearances. His tour dates have included London (Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Dean St), around Europe, and as far afield as Abu Dhabi and Mexico. He performed with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra at the National Concert Hall in December. A rare talent, Cormac is joined at Jazz at Johnstown by the fantastic trio of Johnny Taylor (piano) Barry Donoghue (bass) and Dominic Mullan (drums).
