About this event
New York based singer-songwriter, educator and author Tara O'Grady will present her new memoir at the Frank McCourt Museum in Limerick, Ireland. With Music from Dennis Allen and opening launch from Limerick's Rose of Tralee, Sinead Flanagan.
'Migrating Toward Happiness: The Soundtrack to My Spiritual Awakening,' is a story about how O'Grady replicated her Irish immigrant grandmother's 1957 road trip from New York to Seattle in a '57 Chevy Bel Air. The entertaining and inspiring story questions the purpose of life as this Irish American gal begins to understand the road signs the Universe lays out before her as she awakens to its mysteries. Imagine 'Eat, Pray, Love' meets 'Thelma and Louise' on the Yellow Brick Road, soundtrack included. There will be a book signing after the presentation.
