Read the HOWTO: https://goo.gl/LhtGu8

All instruments and singers are welcome!

SINGERS:

Bring your own mic, if you have one, and a cable.

DRUMMERS:

Bring your cymbals, hihat clasp, and a tuning key.

GUITAR & BASS PLAYERS:

Bring your instruments and cables.

QUIET INSTRUMENTS (violin, cello, etc):

Bring an electric pickup and cable.

At the session we play jazz standards, like those from the Real Book series. We use iRealPro (with data from the iReal forums) to get chord changes. The app is outrageously expensive (for an app), but it does a great job.

To participate, you need to be able to play at least one tune and then improvise over it. If you're just starting to learn or play jazz, consider coming and listening first. For faster introduction to jazz, consider attending the workshops at the Jazz Lab: https://thejazzlabdublin.com/

We meet at 8pm and prepare the stage area, bring amps, etc. Consider coming at 8pm! We start playing around 8:30pm. The jam finishes at 11pm. About 10 minutes are necessary to clean up after the jam.
