About this event
Guitarist Tom Ollendorff returns to Arthurs this October with an all-star trio as part of his highly anticipated album-release world tour. Widely regarded as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the UK in recent years, Ollendorff’s playing blends lyrical sensitivity, rhythmic fluidity, and a distinctively warm tone. He’s joined by two of the most in demand musicians in the world today, drummer Francesco Ciniglio and bassist Viktor Nyberg.
His appeal is not hard to understand: a combination of fearsome musical chops, ambitiously sophisticated compositional sensibility and an unashamedly tuneful upbeat musical personality is very hard to resist’ (Jazzwise)
Meticulous eloquence (The Guardian)
Essential listening for those who care about the future of jazz guitar (Music Jazz)
