Community Night at The Hendrick: Poetry, Music & Dance in Support of Emergency NGO

Join us for an unforgettable evening at The Hendrick on October 12th, 8 pm, where we celebrate Community through the power of art, music, and words. In a time when solidarity is more important than ever, let's come together to foster a sense of belonging, support one another, and make a difference.

What’s on the Program:

Poetry by Sarah Creighton Keogh:

The evening begins with Dublin's own Sarah C. K., a talented poet who captures the sacred in the smaller moments. She invites us to connect with the intimate experiences that often go unnoticed, reminding us of the power of vulnerability and shared emotions. Sarah graced our Cultural Harmony Festival, and we're excited to have her back!

Joy of India:

Next up, experience the magic of indian music with 'JOY OF INDIA' with SADANAND MAGEE, ANKITA GAWAS, SURAJ PUTTIGE

SAMBA DE GAFIEIRA, Brazilian Dance Workshop with Samba.ie: William Ribeiro & Aline Kuiavski

Feel the rhythm and energy of Brazil with an interactive dance workshop. Dive into the joy of movement, and let the music lead you through a fun and freeing experience. No dance experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

THE BRAZILIAN JAZZ JOURNEY with Lulu's Jazz Club - Closing Set:

To conclude, Lulu's Jazz Club takes the stage with their soul-soothing jazz melodies, including Brazilian rhythms that will leave you mesmerized. The perfect way to close our night of community and culture.

And of course, we'll wrap up the evening with La Mansarda's signature Tiramisu—a sweet thank you for being part of this journey with us.

Proceeds:

Half of the proceeds will go to Emergency NGO to support their vital work, while the other half will directly support the talented artists bringing this event to life.
