MATTHIAS WINKLER | GUITAR

Lulu's Swing Band was born in 2019 moved by the desire of the singer and leader Luisa Annibali to play for swing dancers. Those concerts always attracted her attention, particularly the great, exciting and happy energy created by musicians and dancers together.

The Lineup is international, like most of Luisa's Bands. With Lulu's Swing Band she brings together Italian, German, Japanese and Irish Musicians. Their repertoire involves music from early 20s till 50s, being always ready to bring the right music depending on the swing dancers needs.

At the very beginning Luisa decided to put the band together especially to play at The Failte Hot Club first event and they kept playing for them every month until November 2021. It was indeed a great experience and she will always be greatful for that. Lulu's Swing Band also had the honour to play at EMERALD SWING in February 2020, a Special Swing Event where swing dancers came from everywhere in Europe. Lately they also started a monthly event for swing dancers under the name of 'CARA MIA SWING DANCE CLUB' .

Doors open at 7.30pm and the podcast begins at 8pm. The entire evening is recorded and you can listen back to each month's episode HERE The performance will begin at 9pm.
