The Dublin Jazz Co-op Presents: ReRoute

About this event
The second curation of 2023 is brought to you by Matthew Jacobson, one of the most prolific drummers in the Irish jazz scene.
To start off the curation, The Dublin Jazz Co-op and Matthew Jacobson present ReRoute:
Often complimented on the warm and inviting atmosphere of their performances, ReRoute is a vocal and guitar duo best known for their intimate shows of lyrical, sincere music.
Brought together by a shared passion for exploring new music and a drive to learn, vocalist Rufina Tishina and guitarist Emily O’Rourke have spent the last four years discovering their sound and developing new compositional ideas. They are delighted to be returning to The Dublin Jazz Co-Op to celebrate the launch of their debut single ‘Temnota’, a song written in March of 2022 by Rufina Tishina as an attempt to capture the emotions and damages caused by inability to change. Come join ReRoute for an evening of music (the improvised kind), openness (or reservation), reflection (to a certain degree) and become part of the performance (or don’t if you’re nervous).
