Yuzuha O'Halloran will be taking the stage on Sunday 8th of May in the Workman's Club Vintage Rooms as part of the next installment of The Dublin Jazz Co-op.
A regular on the Irish Jazz circuit, Yuzuha has been honing her skills over the past few years in bands like the Conor Guilfoyle Octet and Glasshouse Ensemble and has developed a particular affinity for the sounds of Hard Bop and Cool Jazz from the 60's and 70's.
Joined by long-time allies Luke Howard, Hugh Denman and Eoin O'Halloran, the theme of the night will be heavy-swinging tunes from the likes of Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, Billy Cobham and more. Expect a mix of powerful swing and deep musical interaction.
