About this event
Joseph is a young musician from Derry with a very bright future if we listen to what experts in the Irish music industry have predicted.
He has been in constant demand with many local musicians to play with them and has recently returned from Banff, Canada where he studied and played with some of the finest names in Jazz today including Vijay Iyer and Kendrick Scott.
More good news came in May when he received word that after an audition in Dublin in February, he has been accepted to study jazz at Berklee College of Music, Boston in 2017, which is one of the most prestigious music institutions in the world.
If all this were not enough, Joseph was absolutely thrilled when word reached him that he has been selected in the jazz category of Northern Irish musicians to receive funding and mentoring for one year from 'Moving on Music' promotions.
His trio will be playing some well known standards, originals and features some of the finest up and coming names in Jazz :
Rohan Armstrong - Double Bass
James Anderson - Drums
