About this event
All Hallow's Eve, the eve of All Souls Day, when the souls of the dead and living walk the same plain. Come celebrate the lives being lived and those who have passed on, through song.
This Halloween instalment of the Co-op brings Jennifer McMahon back to her singer- songwriter roots, weaving magic spells and conjuring stories across the divide.
Expect music from her debut album Part of The Whole, new music set to be recorded in late November and some old favourites of souls passed on.
Perhaps a request or two, should you like to offer a song to a soul passed on.
"Rising singer-songwriter Jennifer McMahon’s raw lyrics are the keystone of her work"
– cassandravoices.com
"Raw, sensual emotion..."
–The Irish Times, Culture
"Jennifer’s munificent charm and honesty is all too clear in her music, which aims to embrace it’s listeners in musical refuge and individual uplift; with rounded-out low tones, smooth jazz-sensibilities and tender lyrics, from the heart to the heart."

Jennifer McMahon is a singer- songwriter who fuses elements of jazz, soul and folk as the bed-rock of her storytelling. Commended for her raw lyricism and emotion, Jennifer's writing invites the listener into her world, holding space for love and for loss, for the light in the dark, the beauty in sadness, the stillness in turbulence...
On All Hallow's Eve, join Jennifer at The Workman's Club to serenade the souls of the living and the dead as they walk on the same plain for one night.
