Both Colarossi and Conway released second albums this year which show them actively seeking and exploring new musical possibilities. In "Dear World" Conway delves into the rarely recorded and relatively less explored music of enigmatic composer and lyricist Alec Wilder. She invited Julien to guest on the title track of the album and this has seen them working together regualarly since.. In "Streetwise" Colarossi, together with guitarist John Keogh, explores the classic setting of the guitar duo with originals and some fascinating takes on some familiar pop songs.
“Splendid. Emilie Conway gets better all the time.”

“her own vocalese to Coltrane’s solo demonstrating her abilities to their fullest, flitting through the lyrics at a tempo most rappers would be envious of, while maintaining a bouncing melody and clarity of diction throughout. ” - GoldenPlec
