HIRAS is a Finnish dialect word for “Slow”, which is where the band takes it inspiration from. Gathering some of the finest voices in Irish Jazz, HIRAS focuses on the quiet and subtle sides of music, which are often ignored in todays fast and busy society. The music takes roots in the tradition of jazz standards, musical dialogues and original compositions.
