About this event
Superhands are a group of some of Dublin's regular, top improvisers playing original contemporary jazz as well as some choice arrangements by Herbie Hancock and Crosby, Stllls and Nash to name a few.
Drummer Keith De Barra (London Snorkeling Team, Lyric Hammersmith) will be performing in Dublin for the first time in many years after his move to London in 2008.
Joining him will be Dirty Jazz Club regulars Bill Blackmore (trumpet), Colm O'Hara (trombone), Darragh O'Kelly (keyboards) and Derek Whyte (bass), plus guitarist Shane Latimer (OKO/Bottlenote). This promises to be a night of deep atmospheric grooves and great improvising.
