About this event
Described as the “lively band with cool sounds from the sunny side”, the East Coast Jazz Band perform a high energy mix of popular jazz styles, ranging from Dixieland, Ragtime and Swing to Bossa Nova and Blues.
Hailing from the sunny south east, the band has been playing festivals and gigs throughout Ireland for almost twenty years. They had their inaugural performance at the world renowned Guinness Cork Jazz festival in 1998 and have been welcomed back every year since. This culminated at 2013 festival when the band played three performances at the flagship Metropole festival club in addition to other venues.
Their high energy take on jazz classics ensure they appeal to all walks of music fans. The band tours various festivals throughout Ireland, including the Kilkenny Arts Fest, Arklow Maritime Fest and the Jazz festivals at Doonbeg, Ballydehob and Bray.

The Lounge is a comfortable spot in which to enjoy exciting music acts from Wed – Sun (Live Lounge). The stage has been recently renovated and the standard of equipment is top-notch. Music has always been important in The Harbour Bar and it is fast becoming an important venue for new music. The lovely Snug is perfect for a quiet pint and a chat. The Bar is full of character; it plays host to traditional Irish music sessions from Wed – Sat.
