SPACE is a piano trio from Stockholm playing free jazz that channels the American free jazz tradition and contemporary classical music. Combining raw power with an exquisite attention to detail, the three musicians make every moment sparkle with possibilities. In this aural space, every movement matters. They released their debut album Space in 2022, followed by Embrace the Space in 2024 on Relative Pitch.

Regarded as the most important and influential musician on the Irish jazz scene, saxophonist / flautist and composer Michael Buckley has been playing professionally since the age of six when critics hailed him as a child prodigy.

Deriving from Ireland’s original Guinness Jazz Band, so popular in the 80’s and 90’s, they have played major jazz festivals, and jazz clubs throughout Europe, with regular performances in Germany, Scandinavia, the UK, and Ireland.

Join saxophonist Harry Connolly and The Blackrock Quartet for a relaxed Sunday session at Pier Head, Blackrock, one of Cork’s most welcoming live-music spots overlooking the harbour.

A lively fun Sunday jazz session in our beergarden, this weekly event offers a relaxed end-of-weekend, with the space to bop along too! With influences including Django Reinhardt, Stéphane Grappelli, Oscar Peterson and a plethora of many other jazz giants, Pinky Trolley bring a classic approach to equally classic music.

For all of you experiencing post-Christmas blues, Sorcha Mc Cague promises a special evening at Arthur’s Jazz Club with her unique jazz quartet. Harp is not a typical instrument in jazz music with a few historic exceptions.

Zak Irvine is a Belfast-based jazz pianist and bandleader originally from Bangor. He is currently studying a BMus in Music at Queen’s University. With a foundation in classical music, Zak has honed his piano technique from a young age, developing a polished and versatile style.

The Dirty Jazz club have been a massive part of the Dublin Jazz scene for around 15 years. Their focus is on the exploration and deconstruction of songs and an emphasis on creating a depth and textural soundscape on the melody, form and feel of the tunes.
