Two time Mercury Prize nominee and two time MOBO award winner, Laura Mvula takes to the Cork City Hall stage this October!

The innovative British singer songwriter is celebrated for her vocal strength and soulful compositions.

Her debut album ‘Sing to the Moon’ and follow-up album ‘The Dreaming Room’, which features music legend Nile Rogers, both garnered multiple award nominations and critical acclaim.

Mvula’s songs explore identity, personal dilemmas and social issues. The UK Guardian describes how Mvula “pulls the listener along with her through the most serpentine songs: however, winding their routes, the melodies are almost always beautiful; however much the musical scenery shifts, it is always striking.”
