Emilie Conway and her musicians are delighted to return to the Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre.

Named after the Louis Armstrong Christmas classic, come and celebrate the magic and miracles of the festive season with Dublin-based Emilie Conway and her acclaimed band. They will entrance, sing and swing you through an evening of seasonal songs interspersed with fabulous stories of how some of the jazz greats spent the holidays.

The perfect warm up to your winter wonderland Christmas, this will be in our candlelit, cabaret style set-up and is a BYO event.

Emilie Conway is an award winning and dazzling Dublin born jazz singe whose stage debut was an impromptu session with Jon Hendricks and Kurt Elling in a Chicago club in 1999, She released her debut album, The Secret of ar Rose in 2012 and her second album, "Dear World:" Emilie Conway Sings Alec Wilder; in 2016 - both very warmly received.  She performs regularly in Ireland, Europe and the States; a recent career highlight came via an invitation to give a concert in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo for International Jazz Day together with her pianist Johnny Taylor and bassist, Damian Evans.  Her musicians are second to none, sought after north and south, accompanying  Mary Coughlin, Nigel Mooney, Suzanne Savage, Loah, Louis Steward and Cormac Kenevey.  Bassist Damian Evans recently completed a PhD in Jazz Studies.
