Zrazy

About this event

Having hit the ground running, with numerous awards in Europe and the USA - including Irish Music Critics' Best New Band as well as USA Glama and Outmusic awards - Zrazy have released five albums over the years, their latest, The Art Of Happy Accidents, being nominated for Hot Press' Album Of The Year in 2016.

Is it any wonder that The Irish Indepedent describes them as 'the somewhat brilliant Zrazy', whilst The Irish Times were overwhelmed by their 'glorious, free-spirited jazz'. Find out what the fuss is all about when Walsh and Nelson make their Greystones debut and perfrom as a Duo in an intimate setting.

USA GLAMA for Best Song with Remember (That You Did It First With Me)
USA OutMusic award for Best Album Dream On
Gold Disc for a No.1 Hit in Ireland with Ooh Aah Paul McGrath
USA BillBoard song competition top 3 winner with Private Wars
HOT PRESS Album of the Year nominee 2016 for The Art of Happy Accidents

"Maria Walsh and Carole Nelson have musical talent to burn... They specialise in a blend of smooth jazz, cocktail lounge soul and funk that’s infused with dance-come-electronica textures and rhythms – topped with lithe and enchanting vocals. These diverse elements are melded, and duly stamped with the unique Zrazy signature, it is one hell of a brew... the work of a class act"

- Hot Press

"Glorious free-spirited jazz'"

- Irish Times

“They take their audiences on a roller coast ride of music that is downright soulful and sexy”

- Time Out, London
