About this event

Bagots and Hutton's legendary Bank holiday Sundays are making a triumphant return this Sunday April 30th.

As it's our first one on Ormond Quay we have a very special night in store. It coincides rather perfectly with International Jazz Day so with that in mind we have invited the wonderful CEO Experiment, The Dirty Jazz Club, and Mixtapes from The Underground to come and get the ball rolling!!

9pm - LATE!!!

There will be drinks promotions, pizza and a hell of a lot of party to go around so tell everyone!!!!!

The CEO Experiment

The CEO Experiment is one of a kind Piano Trio which combines delicate atmospherics and highly creative improvisations, oscillating between almost every genre in Jazz. Elements of Post-bop and Contemporary Jazz are channeled through original compositions, serving as a vehicle for high energy inter playing. The CEO Experiment’s music is thoughtful and inventive but also full of character, reflecting the different background and imagination of the players.

Up to this date the band has performed at the following Jazz Festivals: Down with Jazz, Bray Jazz Festival, 12 Points Festival, Galway Jazz Festival, Sligo and Howth Jazz Festivals.

The Dirty Jazz Club

The Dirty Jazz club have been a massive part of the Dublin Jazz scene for over a decade. Their focus is on the exploration and deconstruction of songs and an emphasis on creating a depth and textural soundscape on the melody, form and feel of the tunes.

Mixtapes from The Underground

Mixtapes from The Underground have been purveyors of pure improvised hip hop for some time now and each show is the perfect Mix of musicianship and flow!! Great players, great beats, great wordsmiths.

Venue details

Bagots Hutton

Bagots Hutton is a space that is flexible in nature, a restaurant one moment, a funky wine bar the next. It is a venue which moves away from the established idea of a different venue for shopping, eating and socialising.
