About this event
Retrofix will cook up a recipe of 60s soul or 70s funk when they play their first Bray Jazz show on the Harbour Stage, this year.
Their eclectic mix of jazz, funk, soul, bossa and originals has earned them a growing following, and led to an appearance at Mermaid Arts Centre during the Bray One-Act Drama Festival, earlier this Spring.
Classics such as Average White Band’s ‘Pick up the Pieces’ and Santana’s ‘Oye Como Va’ will have the dance floor bouncing, as (largely) local players Clare Stephens, Aran O’Grady, Andrea Fra Manno, Kenny Doran, Karima Dillon El-Toukhy, Michael Monaghan and Aoife Hester lay down a very funky musical trail through some great 60s and 70s sounds.

The Lounge is a comfortable spot in which to enjoy exciting music acts from Wed – Sun (Live Lounge). The stage has been recently renovated and the standard of equipment is top-notch. Music has always been important in The Harbour Bar and it is fast becoming an important venue for new music. The lovely Snug is perfect for a quiet pint and a chat. The Bar is full of character; it plays host to traditional Irish music sessions from Wed – Sat.
