linleyhamilton400The just released album will receive its live premiere at this year’s Bray Jazz Festival. ‘Making Other Arrangements’ sees traditional jazz instrumentation augmented by woodwind and strings as an accompaniment to Hamilton’s soaring and melodic trumpet playing, on a range of classics including Dizzy Gillespie’s ‘Con Alba’, Freddie Hubbart’s ‘Brigitte’ and Artie Butler’s ‘Here’s to Life.’

Presented in collaboration with arranger and producer Cian Boylan, this unique once-off presentation brings together a stellar 21-piece band of top Irish musicians - ‘The Camden Orchestra’ to deliver a unique and special musical presentation that, in Linley Hamilton’s own words, “sums up everything that I love about music.”
