Ätsch Sligo ep Launch

About this event

Ätsch are a Dublin based quartet founded by German guitarist Matthias Winkler. They are all graduates of Newpark Music College and were formed during Winklers final year of studies.

Combining elements of post rock and jazz, they have a sound that is fresh, melodic and easily accessible. Featuring Sligo native Graeme Bourke on Piano, the band also features Eoin O’Halloran(Dub) on bass and Hugh Denman(Dub) on drums. They recently recorded an ep in Ventry Studios in Balbriggan, which they launched in Arthur’s Pub in Dublin, to great acclaim. Their recent gig in the new jazz venue Bagots Hutton was featured in The Irish Times and they are regular performers on the Irish Jazz scene.
