About this event

Zrazy’s first album in ten years sees a return with electrifying diversity. Released this Oct 20, 2015.

Zrazy combine blissfully silky and searing vocals with a stunning musicality of mature soul and jazz-electronica in their innovative new album The Art of Happy Accidents.  Zrazy deliver this album with flawless style and belief.Combining the pop and electronic elements of their first two albums with the jazz and improvisational freedom of the award-winning Private Wars and Dream On, The Art of Happy Accidents sees two consummate musicians and songwriters at the peak of their powers.  The award-winning duo (Best Album and Best Jazz song, GLAMA USA '05 Dream On) bring their band line-up:

Maria Walsh: vocals, flute, percussion. Carole Nelson: piano, sax. Dominic Mullen: drums, Cormac O Brien: double bass.

'Glorious free-spirited jazz' - Siobhain Long, Irish Times

'The art of sophisticated song -writing is alive and well and living in Ireland.' - Ronan Guilfoyle, Muse Mag.

"..Zrazy are world class"  - BBC GLR Radio, UK

JJ Smyths

JJ Smyth's is a family owned bar in the center of Dublin city. Home to many a musician, Jazz and Blues alike. It started off as a family owned grocery and public house back in the 1730's, it has changed throughout the years and now you can hear live Jazz and Blues sounds of the city from within it's doors. JJ's has live Blues and Jazz music six nights of the week. This is where many a musician got their start and where many of the top names continue to play.
